It's not every day you meet people who love the the same things you do and share a sense of style with, that you can photograph.
Lucky for me, I met Vintage Amy who loves beautiful and pretty vintage wedding style, just like me! With some talented suppliers, we got together and can finally bring you this gorgeous bright and colourful shoot.
We've been waiting patiently for One Fab Day to exclusively feature the shoot, you can see their blog here.
As this was the first styled shoot myself, and Amy, had ever done, we were thrilled a blog wanted to feature it. You would perhaps be surprised at the amount of hard-work everyone puts in to come together on the same day and perfectly execute a vision!
When the day came to shoot, I was pinching myself at the lovely people and scenes I got to work with.
The whole team were a dream to work with, everyone and everything clicked into place and we were graced with some absolutely wonderful light on a February day. Our model, Ellouise, had never professionally modeled before but took to it like a duck to water, with her naturally bubbly personality and beauty shining through, enhanced with a nod to vintage in her gorgeous hair and make-up.
The pretty and neutral village hall was transformed into a riot of colour for our shoot. Jo The Florist provided such an array of gorgeous bright blooms, it was hard not to smile all day. Selina's cake complemented the cake table scene, with its rustic touches and floral decorations - it smelt truly scrumptious so it's a shame you weren't there to smell it for yourselves.
It just goes to show, all you need is a blank space and some imagination to make a space truly special on your big day.
You can see the shoot in all it's glory below. Oh, and watch this space for our next styled shoot...
