Stonehill Farm Wedding - Proposal Styled Shoot - Betty Loves Vintage

I’ve been fortunate enough to make some amazing friends on my photography journey, and for this shoot I got to work with two of them!
Helen at Betty Loves Vintage wanted to create a proposal styled shoot, with a gorgeous lounge set-up complete with yummy grazing board for our couple.

Helen says:
”I wanted to create a story behind the shoot, a couple taking a romantic stroll in the beautiful countryside here in Sussex. On a sunny Sunday morning in Spring they have a favourite spot they like to visit with stunning views across the South downs. Our Fiancé would take his lady by surprise and drop down to one knee, popping the question with a beautiful antique ring in a personalised velvet ring box while they walked through the orchards.

I had visions of the Fiancé excitedly leading his stunned Fiancée further up the hill where they discover a little vintage living room set up in the field. The living room would be the couples own romantic and comfortable space, complete with bubbles cooling in a bucket and a bohemian grazing platter almost too pretty to eat. There for them to celebrate, to snuggle up reminiscing about their past and excitedly thinking ahead to their future together.”

When looking for models for our shoot, I knew Amber would be the perfect fit as she is such a natural in front of the camera with great style,, which came in so handy working with our model Sam for the first time.

P.s - That’s my very own engagement ring in the ring box :)
It belonged to my Great-Grandmother, Grandmother and Mum before being passed on to me when I became engaged. Grandma would definitely get a kick from it being featured in the shoot! xx
