Wedding at Limekiln | Anna and Callum
EDITORIAL BLACK TIE WEDDING AT LIMEKILN, SUSSEX
For Anna and Callum’s wedding at Limekiln, they wanted a relaxed but refined celebration. All the editorial feel with an elegant and emotional tone. Anna wearing Halfpenny London, and Callum in his black-tie tux, these two looked like Hollywood stars on the red carpet. Featuring elegant, white and green florals by Magic Flowers and Gifts, signature his and hers cocktails, an emotional ceremony, and a proper party. These two sweet souls deserved the best day, and the best start to their married life together, their photos glow with their joy.
As a recommended supplier at Limekiln, I truly recommend it for a relaxed and stylish venue with an expert and kind team.

The 35mm Film Gallery
Your full day wedding includes 35mm film as standard, for that editorial and textured vibe, you just can’t beat it. You can expect 60 images that form a highlight gallery across your day from 2 rolls of film included. The vintage feel coupled with your sleek and elegant digital gallery makes the most gorgeous and unique combination for your wedding photos.
The perfectly imperfect moments, the light leaks, the grain. All gloriously and timelessly captured.
The Morning Prep
Choosing a second photographer for your day is the best way to ensure relaxed photos of you both getting ready.
Anna prepared with her mum and bridesmaids, and Callum with his groomsman. A tip from me is to make sure your details are set aside for me to photograph, your shoes, dress, perfume etc, this helps me ensure no important and meaningful detail to you is missed. The glam beauty space at Limekiln was perfect for some last minute touch-ups with Anna, and the bar gave a gorgeous back-drop for Callum to have a pre-ceremony catch-up with his groomsman.
The Ceremony
Anna and Callum’s ceremony was full of meaningful moments and emotion. Anna’s wonderful mum read from Dr. Seuss ‘Oh The Places You’ll Go’, there was not a dry eye in the house. Their ceremony was a true reflection of the joyful bond this couple share, so much laughter throughout when they and their guests weren’t reaching for a tissue. The couple also chose to share personal vows, which I truly think is the best way to make the most of your ceremony. To declare your true feelings to each other among your closest friends and family is beyond special. Anna and Callum also made the most of their aisle walk, stopping for a dip kiss, and dancing along before confetti.
Editorial Wedding Portraits
One of the things my couples say to me is how relaxed yet stylish my work is. This is what I have worked hard to achieve and perfect for you over my 8 years of experience, to elevate your portraits and make it feel easy. Your day is mostly captured with a candid documentary approach, allowing the day to naturally unfold. But when there are moments right for a little guidance and curation, such as your portraits, is when I step into that mode for you. Beautiful portraits take some direction, nothing forced or posed, but prompts that allow you to be yourselves.
Curated and refined, heartfelt and relaxed.
Anna and Callum had a naturally modern flair, and we were blessed with some lovely soft light and a gentle breeze for their evening portraits. Romantic and relaxed, with a hint of fashion.
Limekiln Wedding Venue
Limekiln, Sussex has such a real modern elegance, while being steeped in true comfort. If you have heard of their sister venue Kin House, you will know you are in for a treat. With its beautifully tiled 360 bar, light spaces, and secret party room, it flows perfectly as a wedding venue.
The terrace against the Sussex countryside with the sun shining felt like we could be in the South of France. As the drinks flowed, guests mingled and Anna and Callum took some time to see how their vision for their reception dinner came to fruition. Delicate greens, white and pops of terracotta to match the room’s decor against the light and airy space.
All your favourite people in one place
Dinner is a perfect time to make an entrance, continue that celebratory energy. Then, catch your breath before speeches, to look around the room and see it filled with all your loved ones. To raise a toast, to catch-up, take stock of your ceremony, and share in the moment.
Dancing in the moonlight
When all the special parts of their wedding were completed, Anna and Callum just wanted to party the night away. Their first dance to the classic Dancing In The Moonlight was followed by an Ibiza themed playlist with a live drummer and saxophonist to bring the party mood. Anna changed into her party dress, and kicked off the vibe on no time with Callum by her side.

REVIEW
We are so glad we chose Katie to capture our wedding. From the offset she was professional, supportive, and made us feel comfortable on the lead up and throughout the entire day.
She listens intently to whats important to you, she captures every important moment without you knowing she's there.
The photos are stunning. Not only Vogue worthy - they really capture the emotions of everyone - so many beautiful candid shots we’ll treasure forever.
She stayed well into the party hours and I generally loved hanging out with her.
I highly recommend Kate to anyone, worth every penny.
