Editorial Wedding PhotographyFAQS
-
It’s the refined feel, the considered approach to light and composition, and the way I pay attention to the smaller details - from portraits to quiet in-between moments. I aim to create images that feel beautiful and intentional, like something you’d see in a magazine, but still full of feeling and truth.
On your wedding day, my approach is a mix of documentary and editorial - capturing those unposed, meaningful moments with a creative feel. I’ll guide you just enough to help you feel relaxed and look your best, without anything feeling forced.
-
I do. I shoot digitally for flexibility and coverage, but I also love incorporating 35mm film into a wedding day. It adds a nostalgic, fine art feel that pairs beautifully with an editorial style. If you're curious, you can read more about this on my 35mm film wedding photography page.

Some of my favourite places to photograph include The Ned, Marylebone Town Hall, Syon Park, Kew Gardens - beautiful spaces with great light and refined details that really suit an editorial feel. I know them well and can help you make the most of each one.
-
Absolutely. While my approach focuses on editorial storytelling, I always make time for capturing special moments with your loved ones. That includes group shots with your family and friends. We’ll keep them relaxed, quick, and elegant so they feel true to the day and don’t take you away from the celebration for long.

It’s usually a little higher than standard wedding photography, just because there’s so much care and experience behind it. Editorial work takes experience and skill - it’s about capturing your day with real attention to detail, an eye for beauty, and a calm, considered approach. I only take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can give each one the attention it deserves. You can find more details on my pricing and process on my Experience page.

Absolutely, editorial bridal portraits are some of my favourite images to create. If these portraits are important to you, I recommend being ready around 30 minutes early so we have time to take them without feeling rushed.
-
I can, yes. I’ve been lucky to work with some really talented editorial wedding videographers whose work pairs beautifully with mine. I’m always happy to share a few recommendations when we chat.

Early in my career, I trained with some of the best editorial wedding photographers in the UK. That experience gave me a strong foundation in working with light, composition and storytelling. Over time, I realised I was drawn to a more elegant, editorial way of shooting and I started working with couples who wanted the same approach for their wedding day photos.
Shooting in some of London’s most elegant venues, like The Ned and Marylebone Town Hall, helped shape my style too — places where great light and thoughtful design really complement editorial photography.
