Wedding at The Old Rectory Estate, Bletchingley

Molly and Tom’s modern Italian garden wedding

The Old Rectory Estate nestled in Surrey is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the South. With it’s grand historic house and Italian inspired gardens, it’s fast become one of my recommended wedding venues in the UK!

Molly and Tom wanted a relaxed, modern and elegant rustic vibe to their day, with a beautiful marquee in the gardens, we were spoiled for photo opportunities. Originally planned for June 2020, hand on heart I believe it was worth the wait, and the second and third date options. It was everything they dreamed it would be…except for perhaps including the Euros Final!!

The couple had a Perfect Words celebrant-led ceremony which was full of joy and personal touches, including Molly’s grandad and brother both giving readings. Madness saxophonist Steve played live to a sing-along of It Must Be Love, an absolute highlight of their day. (Yes, ofcourse I sang along too).

Confetti and bubbles led the way for more drinks on the sprawling lawn, before settling down for dinner and speeches.
Molly’s dad gave the most beautiful speech, reciting reasons that he loved Molly, it was so truly touching. There was raucous laughter as Tom reminded their guests about how he met Molly and how their love story evolved into setting up their new home and adding their beloved dog Herbie to their family. The room erupted with laughter once again as Tom’s Best man reminded Tom of his somewhat savage stag do, complete with a photo book to remember the occasion in all it’s technicolour glory!

Tom and Molly can’t help but laugh in each other’s company, it really was a day full of laughter, such a privilege to be a part of.

Keep an eye out for a cheeky little visit from Bojo ;-)

Molly and Tom’s Review

A MILLION TIMES THANK YOU FOR ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING.

Katie, it is so hard to put into words how brilliant you are, and how grateful we are to have chosen you as our wedding photographer. We are so lucky to have 'found you' and I mean it when I say that we hit wedding photographer jackpot when we did.

You are just the loveliest lady, you are extremely caring, understanding and you are so helpful. But in addition to this, you are a fantastic and very talented wedding photographer, you are a true professional and you captured us, and our family and friends, so perfectly on our big day.

We will treasure the moments you captured forever. A million times thank you for absolutely everything - we would recommend you time and time and time again!
